Our new GNP-6-SAFE is similar to our previous models but is better because:
New heavy duty foot pedal control valve with OSHA Guard for easier operator activation.
"ARC" mechanical mechanism in ram automatically adjusts to uneven wood thickness assuring a perfect splice.
Larger push plates can now easily push in 6" long gang nails if desired.
Stronger magnets to better hold the gang nails during set-up and gang nail setting.
Pump is now under the table and away from harm.
Thicker Lexan Guard for increased employee protection and added durability.
KEY FEATURES
Adapable. Mounts easily to the sides of tops table and sidewall table installations. Self contained. Pump is protected under the table.
Lumber Capacity. 1x3, 1x4, 1x6, 2x3, 2x4 and 2x6.
Gangnail maximum number for press at one time. 2 (one on each side of wood).
"Peek-a-Boo Magnets" hold the gangnails in correct position until they are pressed into wood.
Gangnail maximum size. 20 square in. each (6" long maximum).
Cycle Time. Approx. 7 seconds for entire cycle.
Construction. Heavy-duty welded construction with Lexan Safety Guard.

HUD Requirements. Complies with HUD as long as machine is used as intended and correct size gangnail is used.
Additional Information. Wood is gangnailed while on the short side (vertical) while the operator holds both pieces of wood and pushnes them together. The Lexan guard protects the operator's hands from the clamping work area. Press will not work unless Lexan guard covers the work area (interlock). Operator pushes foot pedal to operate press.
